Our Story
In 1996, two brothers, Matthew and Russell Dunn, set out with a vision: to deliver exceptional products and services while supporting their small hometown community. Starting in a modest 4,000-square-foot facility in Belgrade, Missouri—their childhood town of just 500 residents—they produced both residential and commercial millwork using little more than a table saw, screw guns, and hand tools. By 2008, CMI shifted exclusively to commercial projects and moved operations to a 150,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Ironton, Missouri.
In 2010, Matthew Dunn became the sole owner of Cabinet Masters Inc., with a mission to elevate the company to new heights. By 2016, CMI had invested over $5 million in automation and advanced machinery, transforming the business into a powerhouse of efficiency and innovation.
Today, with doubled production capacity, cutting-edge equipment, in-house engineering, a dedicated sales team, and experienced project managers all under one roof, CMI delivers and installs premier casework, cabinetry, wall paneling, and solid surface solutions nationwide.
Our Production Facility
Our state-of-the-art production facility in Ironton, MO is the heart of our operations, strategically located to serve projects from coast to coast. Spanning 150,000 square feet, our facility provides ample space to manufacture and store materials for even the largest projects, offering extended storage options many fabricators can’t match. By keeping everything under one roof—from production to loading onto CMI trucks—we ensure seamless logistics and minimize handling, safeguarding quality and efficiency. This streamlined process allows us to produce your projects months in advance and deliver them directly to your site with unmatched precision and reliability.
